How do you use the sponge?

First, dampen the sponge and squeeze out excess water. Then dip Blend + Blur Sponge into Buildable Blur CC Cream™ and dab or use a stroking motion to blend into skin. This is a water-activated product and getting it wet first is important because it allows the product to sit on top of the sponge instead of being absorbed.  

Why does it have the angle and how do I use it?

Use the precision angled side to blend or add extra coverage to the hard-to-reach areas of your face like under your eyes and around your nose. The pointed tip is also perfect for concealing blemishes.

Can you use this for powder too?

Yes, you can also use this with our Filtered Effects Soft Focus HD Setting Powder™! Press and roll your setting powder with a damp Blend + Blur Sponge for a more dewy finish.

What makes the sponge antibacterial?

Our Blend + Blur Sponge is composed of a special latex-free material which doesn’t allow or promote the growth of bacteria. This also prevents the early deterioration of the sponge and makes it last longer but we still suggest you wash your sponge 2 to 3 times per week!

How do you store the sponge?

Store your sponge in a dry, breathable area. If you’re using the sponge wet, it is especially important that you allow your sponge to air dry to ensure optimal cleanliness.

How do I wash my sponge?

You can wash your Blend + Blur Sponge by saturating it in warm water and using your favorite brush cleanser or a gentle soap. Once you have created a lather, simply squeeze out the excess. Repeat until clean. We suggest squeezing gently to avoid tearing. You can then pat dry with a paper towel and let your sponge air dry or use it immediately to apply your Buildable Blur CC Cream.

How long will the sponge last?

The longevity of the Blend + Blur sponge largely depends on your personal usage and care habits. We recommend replacing your Blend + Blur Sponge once every three months to maintain its high performance.
